Put your paddling skills to the test on a guided kayaking adventure. Following a safety and skills briefing at Muirs Beach, kayak west on a scenic loop around Picnic Island, a private island off the Freycinet Peninsula, then continue towards Coles Bay Headland before tracing the coastline back to Muirs Beach.
Details: Wine Glass Bay walk in Freycinet National Park (180 mins)
Freycinet National Park is a hiker’s playground. Today, tackle one of the park’s most iconic walks to the Wineglass Bay Lookout. The steady uphill climb takes around 45 minutes and is rewarded with breathtaking views across the perfectly curved bay below. From the lookout, descend on a steeper track to reach the beach, and walk along the stunning white sand. The Wineglass Bay Lookout and Beach return walk is approximately 6 km and usually takes 2–2.5 hours of walking time.

Details: Cradle Mountain National Park excursion
Found at the heart of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area, there is an abundance of nature and wildlife waiting to be discovered. From moss-covered ancient rainforests and deep river gorges, to a huge array of walking tracks providing an opportunity to encounter Tasmanian devils, quolls, platypus, echidna and wombats.
Details: Dove Lake Circuit Walk (6km)
Take a 6 km circuit walk around Dove Lake, a glacially carved landscape set within the stunning Cradle Mountain–Lake St Clair National Park. This scenic track winds beneath the dramatic spires of Cradle Mountain and surrounding peaks, follows the tranquil shoreline of Dove Lake, and passes through pockets of lush, temperate rainforest.

Ascend the stairway into the magnificent cavern and take in the stunning delicate formations and beautiful colours. Dotted throughout the cave, see the luminescent sparkle of glow worms which are actually the larvae of a primitive fly.

Step into nature and explore walking tracks along the river, see swimming pools and the world’s longest single span chairlift, and take in the breathtaking panoramic views from the Alexandra Suspension Bridge.

View and photograph the spectacular views of the ancient rock gorge. The chairlift was built in 1972 and spans 457 metres of the natural basin.
