Details: Sunrise visit of Borobudar Temple
Find a quiet spot to sit and wait for the sun to rise over the horizon from the top of temple, enjoying the serene and spiritual atmosphere that seems to have infiltrated every rock. As you look out to the hills and forests surrounding you it isn’t hard to imagine how explorers must have felt when they stumbled out of the forest in 1814 to find such a sight lost to the world for almost 500 years. The awe-inspiring monument features the largest and most complete collection of Buddhist relief sculptures on the walls of its seven terraces - all of which detail the story of Buddhist cosmology.

Visit Pasar Beringharjo, one of the oldest and largest traditional market in Yogyakarta. Find anything here, but don’t forget to bring along your bargaining skills and sample the delicious Es Dawet to quench your thirst.

A beautiful water park and formerly a royal garden of Yogyakarta sultanate, Taman Sari was built in the mid-18th century. Situated in the centre of Yogyakarta City and just a step away from Sultan Palace, it was originally built to be used as a hiding place, a workshop, a peaceful space for meditation, and a defense area.

Uluwatu Temple, or Pura Luhur Uluwatu, is renowned for its magnificent location, perched on top of a steep cliff approximately 70 meters above sea level. As one of the 6 key temples considered to be Bali's spiritual pillars, Uluwatu also shares the splendid sunset backdrops as that of Tanah Lot Temple, another important sea temple located in the island's western shores.

Perched 70 meters above sea level, atop a steep cliff visit the Uluwatu Temple and experience the captivating Kecak dance performance. The Kecak dance is a Balinese Hindu dance and music drama developed in the 1930s and narrates the story of Asia’s most famous epic, Ramayana. It is a story that has become part of cultural life and religious and moral teachings.
